This module consists of 4 capacitor banks connected in delta configuration on a three-phase bus to perform power factor correction experiments either manually or with a dedicated controller. Each bank can be activated with an AC line voltage input or manually with a built-in toggle switch. The module is also equipped with a current transformer to measure currents for an add-on controller or other applications. Once a bank is activated, a LED indicator on the faceplate lights up to make it easy to see which one is activated. Each bank is equipped with a specific contactor designed for capacitor switching including the damping resistor.
