The Gasketed Plate Heat Exchanger is an optional heat exchanger in the Pressure, Flow, Level, and Temperature Process Training Systems.

The Gasketed Plate Heat Exchanger features a series of thin, thermally conductive plates that are assembled to create cavities or channels for each of the two fluids. By alternating the fluid that circulates in each channel between fluids 1 and 2, a multilayered and compact structure is created and allows an efficient heat transfer to take place. Plates can be added or removed from the Gasketed Plate Heat Exchanger, thus changing the surface area where the heat exchange takes place.
