Capacitive Level Transmitter (Hart)
Description
The Capacitive Level Transmitter (HART) is a level measurement device based on the change in the capacitance of a capacitor (i.e. the water in the column) as the level of fluid constituting the capacitor varies. Capacitive systems work reliably and accurately in most conditions, even extreme temperatures and high pressures. This model includes a 4-20 mA output to monitor the level in the column and is compatible with the HART communication protocol. The device can also be configured manually via its alphanumeric display and push-buttons.
