The simulation box is used to display the input and outputs signals of an MPS® station or PLC. Two modes of application are possible:

- Simulation of inputs for testing of a PLC program. Use I/O data cable (SysLink) (order no. 034031) for this purpose.

- Setting of outputs (with separate 24 V supply) in order to operate an MPS® station. The cable (order no. 167106, 2.5 m) required for this purpose is included in the scope of delivery.The simulation box contains a SysLink socket.

The simulation box is to be used exclusively in an educational laboratory environment. Use as a control element in an industrial environment is not intended, except briefly as a commissioning aid.

The grey (parallel) Syslink cable must not be used under any circumstances, as this could destroy the sensors.
