The Function Generator is a low-frequency function generator plug-in control module. It provides three output waveforms (sine wave, square wave, and saw-tooth), whose frequency can be varied in four ranges (from 0.1 Hz to 1 kHz). It can be used as a convenient modulation source to control the output pulse signals of the Chopper / Inverter Control Unit, Model 9029, or the firing angle of the Thyristor Firing Unit, Model 9030. A 0-5 V SYNC pulse signal for external triggering purposes is easily accessed through a BNC connector on the front panel.
