The work bench is an optional storage solution for all panels, and most of the hardware, tools and measuring apparatus required to perform the suggested experiments of the Mechanical drives training system. It is designed to accommodate the workstation.

The hardwood work surface has a width of 72 in (1829 mm) and a depth of 30 in (762 mm). The surface of the work bench has a height of 36 in (914 mm) with respect to the ground. The 1.75 in (45 mm) thick wood top are made of a hardwood with a lacquered finish.

The work bench is equipped with fifteen lockable drawers. The drawers have a locking mechanism to lock them all at the same time. Ten drawers withstand a weight of 44 lbs (20 kg), four drawers withstand 33 lbs (15 kg), and one drawer withstands 77 lbs (35 kg). The work bench is equipped with four lockable casters. A safety mechanism that prevents more than one drawer from each section to be opened at the same time is included.
