The DC Power Supply / Ethernet Switch module consists of a 120 V dc power supply and an industrial-grade, five-port Ethernet switch enclosed in a half-size EMS module. The 120 V dc power supply is designed to power Circuit Breakers and Disconnect Switches modules, Models 3783-0 and 3783-A (up to 3 modules can be powered at the same time).

The Ethernet switch is used to establish an IP-based communication link between a host computer and several Circuit Breakers and Disconnect Switches modules. This IP-based communication allows remote control of each circuit breaker and each disconnecting switch.
